Appropriately, they set up camp in the former 'Mercy Corpse' offices. We are holding our breath! Known is, so far, that a program of Home repairs and assistance is planned by them. A program arugam.info commenced in the last week of 2004 already with great success. The idea is to give affected home owners some financial means to repair their own dwellings - by far the best way of allowing people to help themselves. Better than the construction of a few chicken sheds in the jungle, where no one wants to live anytime.However, we know of a few families who were PROMISED cash by the French Red Cross - and NOTHING has happened. Again, the saga of broken promises by the Red Crusaders seems set to continue. Latest Info from Arugam Bay:
