Arugam.info recalls that a few months ago an exhibitition was traveling around the hotspots of the Nation.
They never went East, of course.

The KARUNA office at Kalmunai in Eastern Province was hit and largely destroyed at 20:30 hrs. 20th December, 2006.
Unconfirmed reports claim a number of fatalities.
